(more…)It will be possible to perform IFS Food v7 Assessments from 1st March 2021. From 1st July 2021 IFS Food v7 will be mandatory.
The IFS Food Standard version 7 has been revised by the following international working groups: Extended Core Group, National Working Groups, International Technical Committee and the IFS Technical Team Working Group. Representatives of retailers, industry, food services and certification bodies were part of these outstanding working groups that combined input from Europe, North and South America and Asia.
(more…)The IATF has approved additional Sanctioned Interpretations (SI 11-21) and a revised SI 2 related to Rules 5th edition and has approved an additional Sanctioned Interpretation (SI 19) related to IATF 16949:2016.
The approved SIs for Rules 5th Edition are related to multiple sections of Rules 5th edition addressing the release of CARA, (Common Audit Report Application). These SIs become effective as CARA is deployed by the CB. These SIs become mandatory from January 2021 coinciding with the mandatory implementation date for CARA.
The approved SI for the IATF 16949:2016 standard is related to section 8.4.2.4 and is effective October 2020.
Sanctioned Interpretations alter the existing published requirements of the IATF Rules for achieving and maintaining IATF recognition 5th edition and for the IATF 16949:2016 standard.

Stakeholders may raise concerns regarding perceived violations of the Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition (5th Edition) or the IATF’s Automotive Quality Management Systems standard (IATF 16949).
These potential concerns could be about IATF approved Certification Bodies, IATF 3rd party auditors, IATF 16949 certified organizations, or IATF Global Oversight Offices.
