Special regulation COVID-19

VDA received several questions about the possibility of online VDA trainings instead of face-to-face trainings regarding the current situation with the Corona Virus (COVID-19).

At the moment, VDA see no option of this, because the VDA trainings are not designed for an online performance.

VDA and we ask for your understanding that VDA cannot recommend offering VDA trainings or examination online as an immediate measure.

Therefore, VDA stated a “Special Regulation COVID-19”, which affects VDA certificates with validity end until 30^th June 2020.

Please note: Auditors, who fulfil all requirements and/or are not affected by the corona situation, shall of course hand in the applications for renewal of VDA 6.3 or re-qualify for IATF 16949 1st/2nd party in due time.
